About Vicki

Vicki Collins

With over 15 years experience in providing quality Chinese Herbal medicine and acupuncture, my main focus is on safe, ethical and evidenced-based patient care.

The lush rain forest setting of my home-based clinic provides a safe, calm and relaxed environment.

I want to fully understand your health concerns, which is why I take great care in diagnosing and treating you.

I work to provide you with the best treatment options for the best results.

As a professional acupuncturist and Chinese herbal medicine practitioner, I have chosen to be a member of both the Association of Acupuncturists and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). As a member of AHPRA it is important to note their regulatory wording on the effects and benefits of acupuncture. I have therefore added links to all conditions treated so those interested can read the clinical and scientific research for themselves.

My special interest and passion is in women’s health and fertility with extensive experience in treating menstrual irregularities, IVF Support, pregnancy and menopause.

I started my journey as a health practitioner in the 1980’s working along side a naturopath while studying a Diploma in Swedish massage, gaining a high distinction. In the early 1990’s I studied a course called Oriental Medicine, which included basic studies in Chinese medicine, Ayurveda medicine, and Shiatsu. From this my interest in Chinese medicine began. Then in the mId-1990’s I began an advanced diploma of Health Science (acupuncture) and went onto complete a Bachelor of Health Science with a distinction at the now Endeavor College of Natural Medicine in 2003. In my final year here I also achieved highest point grade average in Chinese Herbal Medicine.

I continue to develop my knowledge and skills in order to keep abreast with the latest health trends enabling me to understand and keep abreast of my clients health needs. To achieve this I regularly attend seminars within Australia and abroad, engage in online seminars, plus my own continual research and personal development within my industry and other health related industries.
